Taking a bit longer than expected/chapter screen preview
Im releasing the next update with the paid one. With a section of Warrens POV Route.
Some good news and bad:
Bad news:
is pretty clear taking a bit of time to complete. I'll release with the 4 panels first.
Good news:
Chapter selection screen preview is here. ;) It'll also reveal the names of upcoming characters! The POV chapters will be located in here as well attached to the coorsponding chapter. I intend to roll out the QoL update with paid version of the game.
Warrens POV route contains a lot of fun stuff, I feel it gives a better mindset about him. It also delves a bit into his annoyance to Nox as it fills the bridge from passing out to waking up. It reveals a bit of Nox's really dark tendencies, while keeping the humor to some extent. Their banter was fun to write. It is a lot longer than expected but I get carried away writing which is why chapters are crazy lengths.
It will need a bit of in-game editting to the scenes.
As for progress on the story, I did make quite a bit of Warrens chapter 2 it is maybe a quarter done? Hard to say since its so early.
Octavius chapter 2 maybe 1/3rd done, his route is actually 100% complete but needs a total rewrite as I wrote it in a different point of view. His route gets extremely dark too, but its what you'd expect. Unfortunatly it wont be released with the QoL update but I'm hoping to do so soon.

oooh, excited to see the updates? will we be getting the Jabberwocky introduced soon, or will he be a while before we see him? :)
I was also curious, but what is the difference between the version of the game here on Itch, and the paid version? and will there be a difference between them once the game is complete?
Jabberwocky is in the game already, he is the secret character in Octavius route ;)
There's no art for him yet though. And the next update is a revamped scene with him
yeah, I was meaning his route, since currently it's just a brief reference near the end of the demo in Octavius's route, so we don't get to interact with him 😊
Im also curious what the difference is between the paid and unpaid versions, and if there will be any difference once the game is complete 😊
Paid versions will have pov chapters <3 that fill in a few things.
